Settle down now

We have had a nice lunch out for Boxing Day (Is it Boxing Day?) And the cat is wanting to have our attention. He has to prod the cushions before he settles down but he has finally sat down next to me. He seems to quite like turkey.

Why have I got so much food in the house? Old habits die hard...

Interestingly, we have just dined at a restaurant on the Worcestershire/Birmingham boundary and they have been having to turn away people from Birmingham who have been claiming they don't know they can't go for a meal in Worcestershire...
