Aconites

For the first time in years I have missed my annual visit to church.  I have always accompanied BB and TT on Christmas day ever since BB was at primary school and took part in a nativity at church on Christmas day.  He’s well past that now but it is still lovely to meet up with friends, even briefly, on Christmas morning and wish them a merry Christmas.  Even BB mentioned that it would be strange not to go to church on Christmas day.  TT is COVID monitor, so he had to go anyway.
We had a slow and quiet morning – a quiet day in fact.  BB has eaten his way through the day in between opening presents.  TT cooked up a  marvellous feast for us, and I did what I needed to do, and also fitted in a wee walk as it was such a nice morning.  When I got home BB was dressed in a Christmas jumper form years gone by - it was snug!!
Lots of lovely presents, lots of lovely food and lots of messages to friends and family.  We three always spend Christmas day at home together, but we do lots of socialising and visiting around and about.  So somethings are much as they always are, but others are definitely not.
Merry Christmas!
I spotted these aconites on my walk this morning.  Are they a sign of winter or spring?
