Cabin in the woods

Another Saturday, another walk. This one felt stranger than most. Planning on taking Drew to the Spout of the Garnock as he had never been, but instead of enjoying Ayrshire's highest waterfall - it had frozen solid ...a bit disappointing. We then headed over to the Auchenbourach cairn but someone had set fire to the hill and flew a brand new Union Jack from the top of the cairn. Probably just heather burning but walking through the smoke and then spotting a Union Jack in the distance felt a bit surreal. On the way back we came through the Ladyland estate and stumbled across this abandoned horror scene.... all in all a pleasant walk but not what I expected at all.
