Christmas placemats

I woke about 6 o’clock this morning, not excited because Santa had been, but thinking about the fact I hadn’t got the Christmas placemats out, they’re usually on the table for a couple of weeks. All sorted now.
Had a drink down by the canal this morning with our neighbours, a phone call with my mother, a lovely turkey dinner with all the trimmings, a chat with my sister and niece on the phone and now waiting for the cricket to start, it’s a tradition to watch the first hour of the Boxing Day test from Australia.
