Merry Christmas 2020!

A lovely day with family today. Started with L bursting into our room at 6:45am declaring ‘Santa has been’ after seeing her stocking was full.

I took H for her morning walk before seeing what presents Santa had left under the tree.

H started her first season two days ago so we’ve had to be careful with walks (on lead only) and she’s been wearing L’s old pants around the house bless!

After opening presents (which included a hoverboard), I made a pot of soup whilst MrsT was doing a sterling job with the planning of the main meal. L and I then went to my mums to drop off soup as she couldn’t make our dinner.

Granny and Grandad then came up and after more prep we sat down for Christmas dinner. Soup or prawn cocktail followed by turkey and the usual trimmings.

Afterwards I took H for another walk before taking a plate to my mums for her dinner. On return we enjoyed dessert (home made trifle) before MrsT’s brother and family came to visit as today is our only day we are allowed.

L and her 2 cousins enjoyed playing whilst baby L enjoyed trying to walk and the attention from Heidi ( who is one tomorrow!!).

Had time to chill once they all departed and finally managed a glass or two of wine. L opened a few more presents from us and got a tad emotional when she got a nice new tablet.
