Christmas Day

I got to bed after 1am  as I watched the midnight mass on TV which was lovely. Woke up just after 7 and after a lovely video call from Matt I got up. The sun was shining so I decided to go a walk after my breakfast. I was going to walk to the corner instead I did my favourite walk by the canal. Lots of dog walkers on the path to Crooke but I didn't see anyone on the canal towpath. Took a few photos loved the frost on the ferns. The sun disappeared as I walked and it was cold but I was well wrapped up and the mud was hardened by the frost so it was very pleasant under foot. 
I went to Matt's for my dinner and just as I arrived at their house it started to snow!! Not on the app!! Jade's parents were also there. Had a lovely time, delicious food and nice company. Sahara was a live wire but played nicely with her dolls and camper van. 
Very little traffic as I drove home. A night of chocolates, Prosecco and TV. 
It has been a lovely day.
