The BIG day!

Argh! I just lost my entire journal, so this is Take 2...

It's been a quiet, but lovely Christmas. Just G & me - the government had said at the start of December they did not want households to mix. Church was back to being online. G said it was the most relaxed Christmas dinner she's ever prepared. We had eaten by 2 pm and then crashed out in front of the TV!

G found the movie The Star which we enjoyed. I, er, fell asleep! It was great to unpack the IKEA BBQ that SweetArt and her husband have given us. It is gorgeous! Can't wait to try it out soon.

It was great to have a sister's Zoom call in the evening. The first time that we can remember all chatting on Christmas Day. And it's great that the temperature has cooled down enough here to open the window and get cooled from the outside in. No jumpers or long trousers required, but it is definitely cool(er).
