Fun in the sun

Just realised that we didn't get rained on once today and actually had exactly the weather we have all been fantasising about during the long, cold, grey days of January. Blue skies of finest Mediterranean Blue abounded and the day was spent with a walk along the beach, unexpected (and slightly unprepared for) paddling in the sea, climbing and exploring the castle, walking around the old town, fabulous lunch at Los Geraneos, ice creams and coffee on the beach, trip to the wormhole park at La Herradura, home for first BBQ of the season. Slightly raucous game of Chase the Ace, now the kids are in bed and final evening of relaxing before heading back to London tomorrow.

It has been so very lovely to feel the sun.
