Redwing

This is a new bird to me. I think I will get a better shot. The holly berries on this side of the tree are just being eaten. I saw what I thought was a songthrush, which we don't see very often, so I got my camera, and then I saw there were five or six of these birds, apparently redwing, the smallest thrush.
About yesterday's dead fox photo: the fox that passes through here at breakfast time is still alive. I hadn't realized when I took the shot how well the reflection would come out and I hadn't even noticed the electric deer. So I went back two hours later and tried to get a better shot - but it was worse. I put the original, better photo in yesterday's post as an extra.
