Foiled by the flood

Christmas Day walk this morning.
Predominantly on roads and tracks because fields and footpaths are largely impassable due to waterlogged mud.
Our first barrier occurred at almost the furthest point from home with the track under water and the fields either side flooded, so we changed plan and came to the Ford that we should have been approaching from the other side!
Note that the railings either side of the road have been swept away.
Back home for bacon butties and presents.
