Christmas Eve cooking

We cook turkey on the day but always cook the other meat the day before. The house smelled lovely as these cooked.  And for once we could use both ovens. Our old oven would blow the fuse if we ever dared put both ovens on at once.  So it was a novel treat to be able to have them both at work together. It will make life so much easier tomorrow too when we can blast the roasties without frying the meat :)

I went out for a walk around the block with mum so she could stretch her leges, then ai went for a longer walk with Ian later.  So I am almost at my 2020 miles target now - about 20 miles left to go.  Provided I can walk after Christmas dinner excesses, I’ll try and knock a few more miles out then.

Usually I would be heading to the church first thing to ring the bells so that would give my legs and arms a workout - but none of that this year. We will have to ring the mini cracker bells instead.
