Xmas Jabs
Had my injections this afternoon at Nottingham QMC, which felt very safe and well organised; gel and disposable masks at the side entrance into the hospital at the end of the above footbridge connection to the tram (I drove today).
Chatted about our mountain biking (inc injuries) and he seemed to enjoy telling me that he'd have the CV-19 vaccine, whilst quickly doing my multiple injections, which are tailored slightly on each visit. Oh, and yes I did manage to get a few words in on how I'd been getting on healthwise. He is Head of Service for Neurology, but isn't my main consultant. He is THE local expert on the injections, which is the most important of course, and very busy as all health staff are.
Our son drove to meet up briefly with 2 mates in a Newark supermarket car park, as one had just passed his driving test - most his friends have now passed.
Had a fabulous outside xmas eve in the village around our well stacked firepit with my grandson et al, and cheering (& ringing) on Santa & Elves tractor drive through.
Blessed!
