A Bold Plan

That's what my son called my idea of going to the beach on Christmas day.  The blip is proof we carried out the plan but swimming was not an option in our opinion.  The wind was blowing  straight in.  In the blip is the lovely daughter and we both wore our Christmas dresses.  A few families were in the water while others were playing cricket, soccer or volleyball.  We did walk off a few calories.  The morning had started with home made eggnog on the deck.  Andrew and Beverley joined us.  It was relaxing day with no big cooking to be down.  We made our own ham sandwiches when we felt like it.  After the beach we called in on the in laws and swapped Christmas stories.  
I have enjoyed seeing the blips from snowy climes where you are having such a different Christmas to mine.
