Silent Night...Holy Night

We went over to our church for the CHRISTmas eve service. It was nice, with singing, scripture reading, and the lighting of the advent candles.

We all got our own candle for the last song...Silent Night. The flame took me back maybe 20-25 years when a teenager at our old church caught his shirt on fire. It was dramatic, but he wasn't hurt.

If you celebrate, have a wonderful Christmas. Instead of having our usual 16-18 for breakfast, I think we're going to have 5 of us.
