Christmas Eve babies.

These are the chicks from the last hatching who despite the lateness of the season when they were hatched have grown quite well. I managed to finish off all my jobs by lunch and had the luxury of a nice hot shower and a rest before the Christmas Eve celebrations begin. I fed the hens early on too so I didn’t have to do them at 5pm. 

The evening was a traditional fish pie supper enjoyed by all. Tomorrow will bring much love , laughter, and fun.  Can’t wait!
