A rainy walk to the mailbox

It has been gloomy and raining today here. #2 son came over to eat lunch with us and then back home as he had some other invites.

The smell of burned sugar for peanut brittle greeted him. Being a good cook he immediately knew what the smell was. I got the stink eye because he is the one that wanted peanut brittle. Luckily I had not put the nuts in so I could do over and the second batch worked great. He will get some tomorrow.

When I went out to get the mail I was looking for a blip. What could be better than a holly tree full of berries.

Who else is watching a Christmas movie?! Or reading a good book?
