Winter field

This afternoon four generations of the family came together for a rare few hours and three of the generations wandered through this winter field of 8ft high crops.
This photo was taken as blue sky burst out from behind a cloak of grey coldness over a field of unidentified stalks awaiting a spring harvest near Market Drayton, Shropshire.
We also thought a Spitfire flew over us at one point. It felt like we'd travelled back in time three generations back to the 1940s.
