Coffee in the carport cafe

Puke and Mrs Puke came round for coffee this morning and we had a Christmas present opening session.  I decided that as there are going to be very few opportunities for sharing our Christmas cake, we should make a start on it today.  I have decorated it using penguins and deer to make a 7 for 7 years of blipping.

This evening Thechimp and I took part in a community carol singing session.  This involved standing on a trailer in a (literally) freezing temperature - it was perishing cold.  You can see pictures of this in thechimp’s blip.

On the way home Mary messaged us to let us know we had a power cut - so no nice baked potatoes for us when we got home.  Fortunately we have a gas hob and a stove so we were able to warm up soup and keep warm.  Power is back on now.
