Horsing Around

A nice bright and sunny start to the day, but very chilly. Rain set in mid morning for a couple of hours, then more sunshine.

I managed to get out for an hour and met these horses and riders out for a wander. This was near the old A1 lay-by near the village.

After lunch we drove over to our son’s house in South Leeds to hand over his Christmas presents and have a quick chat with him over his garden wall! We also donated a bottle of fizz for him to celebrate his new job...shame we couldn’t share it with him.

Carved up our giant turkey into quarters - 3 in the freezer plus a pile of bones for making stock at some point in the future.
