refuelling the athlete

we took a break from packing and cleaning to cycle to the swimming pool this afternoon. It's many years since I did any urban cycling and I was quite nervous - not so much of the traffic, oddly, but the narrow gaps we had to cycle through at times on the cycle track!
R absolutely loves swimming, as do I and her aunt - nice to see our enthusiasm in another generation. Maybe she'll be the one to take it up competitively? Anyway, it gave her quite an appetite!
