A white Christmas on the tops

A perfect winter's day today, bright and clear but very cold.  There is a good covering of snow over the Helvellyn and High Street ranges but only a dusting on Coniston and the Howgills.

Although there will only be the two of us this year we are still going to have the traditional Christmas lunch tomorrow.  In preparation for that I have made the cranberry sauce, Yorkshire puddings and breadcrumbs for the stuffing in advance.
