New reality day 149

Merry Christmas everyone!

After all we have a white Christmas this year - at least here in Nastola. In Helsinki it's black until tomorrow.

We have had a very nice day so far. Morning walk with dogs. Then breakfast and I made a batch of ginger bread cookies. Then we walked (just us humans) 1,5 hours around the woods near the pond. Then back home and prepared the lunch. Salmon, ham, potatoes, casseroles (carrot and swede), salad and some red wine.

Then some Romeo and Juliet (Metropolitan Opera on tv) and starting puzzle and continuing my glass of red with some chocolate.

After the opera we'll take the dogs out before Niklas arrives. He's worked last night so he'll drive here after he's rested. When he arrives we'll have the same foods for Christmas dinner.  After dinner we can open all the presents under the tree. Then we'll call my mum and dad who are both home! My dad was released from the hospital today. He'll have his first check up on Monday and all other appointments to come but he's happy to be home and we are also very happy for that.

And what is Christmas without Christmas sauna?
