Taking Steps
After the bright blue sky of yesterday, we are back in the gloom of grey.
Today is a day of sorting out various "to-dos" before Christmas.
None are in the "dropped ball" category but some are close.
The last few days have been spent on our "heritage report" and we have now completed that.
Our building is stone of whin, sandstone and Caithness. All of the stairs and several areas of stone floor are Caithness.
After 177 years of Fife weathering the outside stairs are home to a wide range of lichens and mosses. This is the subject of today’s Blipfoto.
The bright green on the risers are removed every year, and every year return.
