This coffee stand just cropped up across the road from the office. I haven't sampled the coffee yet, though I cannot start a day at the office without at least a few small cups of Arabic coffee.

The ground coffee comes with cardamom crushed into it. You stir a few spoonfuls into boiling water in one of the silver pots you can see hanging up, and bring it to the boil.

There's a trick to drinking it, as there is usually some sediment ('zift') at the bottom of the cup. You can end up with a grainy mouthful if you are too eager!
