Freezing today, wow, it was cold & dull too. Searching for photographs after the splendid days of hundreds taken in Cornwall, to zilch choice back here. But then looking intently at one of the beds below the trees, I noticed the snake's head fritillary has put in an appearance, still sleeping, but it won't be long now until this beauty will unfurl itself!

So yes, a very cold & uncomfortable day because of the vicious cold! A few snow flakes, but nothing to get excited about. Sometimes I'd prefer if it just snowed, least the freezing conditions would be worth it! :) xxx
