1-2-3 Brown, Brown, and More Brown

As I was leaving Whitesburg Nature Preserve on a short drive through, the sun started poking out a bit as you can see in the second extra.  It's amazing how dead this pond looks as in the warm months it's teeming with wildlife.

Now that the snow and ice are almost melted again, we're expecting 6" of snow tomorrow and very cold temperatures for Christmas day.
