Joy to the world

Robin arrived from Baku tonight and will be staying with me until 6th January. Didn't want to mention it before, not to tempt fate as her flight has already been postponed once.  To see her after more than a year and also not be alone in the festive season is the absolute best Christmas gift for 2020.

Previously the day was spent cleaning the apartment, putting up the Christmas tree (at last) and a couple of hours online teaching, all learners today being from Tokyo and all an absolute joy to talk to.
