Done

Well sort of. I missed one apprently.

I finished putting the pictures up. And painted the bit of picture rail that had been missed and a bit of coving.

The tumble dryer can be fixed. Only not today. He has ordered lots of parts (heating thing, new computer and a pipe doohicky. Feels like basically a new machine minus the housing and drum). Every year I have them out to fix something on the damn thing. He said they will basically keep fixing it until the parts become obsolete. So while on the one hand that's good it's getting fixed on the other hand it's costing me and arm and a leg each year with the extended cover. Everytime I think about cancelling it, it breaks again. But it does mean that we have a mountain of washing to do but it takes a couple of days to do just one load with the airer.

I think I might do a couple of loads and take it to the laundrette (we have an outside one) and use the giant tumble drier. I can sit in the car and read. That actually sounds like bliss.

We have pursuaded the little urchin to wear night night pants so that at least cuts down on some of the washing.

I also did a bit more of christmas cake decorating.

And while I didn't go on strike I did actually get to watch a Christmas movie and wrap some presents (it's OK I actually like wrapping presents).

Tomorrow I am watching the muppets christmas carol even if I have to throw a massive hissy fit.
