A Lot Of Rain, Dear...

.... In fact it's hardly stopped all day.

Kate & Sophie dropped off some presents this morning. It was good to see them, if only for a distanced chat, for the first time since we were all isolating.

We went for a walk this afternoon and passed the house of a couple we know (he's a keen photographer, she used to be our travel agent) who have decorated their front garden with lots of home made reindeer. This is just one little section of the garden.

While we were out Chris phoned to let us know we are moving into Tier 3 on Boxing Day. Inevitable and necessary but depressing nonetheless.

Distracted ourselves as by doing mor Christmas cooking whenever got back: brownies, stuffing, and putting marzipan onthe cake.
