Mummy, can I do Joe Wicks?

The eldest asked if he could do Joe Wicks this morning, he did all of it by himself - very proud (I should have joined in, but kept the puppy busy instead otherwise it would have been chaos!)

Very wet, all day.  Houses have been flooded and many of our local roads are inpassable.  We did venture out this morning - I'd promised the youngest that we would go back to the park today as he didn't have a chance to go on the zip line yesterday.  We must have spent an hour and a half in the pouring rain, mostly having the park to ourselves.  The boys had a brilliant time and were very happy running around in the mud and rain.  Home for bath, lunch, a film and hot chocolate.

We're into tier 3 as of boxing day, which isn't a surprise, but has still made us feel a bit down.  Especially worried whether schools will be re-opening.

Today I'm grateful for:
Boys who are happy larking around in the mud and rain
Cake glitter - it's amazing stuff!
The dog crate - still grateful for that one, it's calmed the puppy down and helped relax him
