Shakespeare's Way
Thanks to everyone for all the stars and hearts for yesterday's 9th blip anniversary.
Today the spaniel and I were in Oxfordshire for the last visit to my father in his care home for this year (if you visit in the week of Christmas you can't visit the following week). We filled in some time by walking part of the so-called Shakespeare's Way, a 220 mile path running from Stratford-upon-Avon to the Globe Theatre in London. Much of the walk was in fog and drizzle but it lifted for a while when we were just coming down past Stonor House, occupied by the same family for more than 850 years, with its prehistoric stone circle and 12th century private chapel.
