Cake and Grandchildren!

Day 54

We met with Mr W's daughters and grandchildren...Stanley and Emelia this morning and enjoyed a very lovely piece of cake for the first time in weeks after this horrible, horrible diet!

Grandad did his Grandad playing duties, was trumped and dribbled on then got a very grown up handshake goodbye from Stanley - aged 4!!

Then off to Costa for our customary tea and more cake after the weekly shop in Tescos. However, I refrained from additional cake and just had a herbal tea - go me!!

Home now for even more fattening Pie and Mash!! Thankgod for weekends! (think I shall keep off the scales in the morning or I shall be depressed ALL day!)

Snow flurries this morning and a very chilly 1 degrees, but feels more like -3 in that wind. Cold, cold, cold.
