Reflective

A lovely walk today with glimpses of blue sky, and we had sunshine!  Walked along both river (very high and lively at Hirst Wood) and canal.  Lots of ducks about, and a huge crowd of geese seemed to be having a spa day at the side of the canal! Took quite a few photos, but I liked this one of the swan with the reflection best.  Tonight was also time for reflection with our community choir carol service, and I sat in a candlelit room to join in.  A wonderful evening with reflective readings, lovely well known carols (including descants!), and of course the company of our lovely choir members.  Thank you to P & B for organising it - feels like Christmas has started now!
