86 today

Birthday celebrations were in order this afternoon a walk up to see grandma at the care home ,she seams to have settled in just fine and is looking the best she has done for a few years now. Just arrived at the nursing home as all the old ladies were singing happy birthday to her.
The staff there had a cake and she managed to blow out the candles luckily there weren't 86 of them , all the residents had some cake, us too, it was very nice . It does seem a nice place up there with a lovely atmosphere.
I got chatting to some of the residents and its only after a while that you notice that some of them are not quite all there anymore as they start to repeat themselves several times. It seems very sad to have forgotten most of a wonderful life but they were all happy enough. We left with a few kisses and a room full of smiles :)
