At The Lake.

The girls arrived at 6.15 this morning.  Alexandra is working different hours because of Christmas.  And as she wasn't picking them up till after 3pm.  It was going to be a long day.

Peter is getting caught up in the border closure again.  A journey that should take about 45 mins., is taking over two and a half hours.

Anyway, as it was going to be hot today, I took the girls to the lake early.

We fed the ducks, played in the play park.  We then went for a walk.

They found some tiny pine cones, which they enjoyed throwing in the lake.

Back home, they went in the pool.  We've played snakes and ladders (I haven't managed to win one game!).  We've danced and sang.  Done lots of colouring.

And we watched the concert dvd.  The first time the girls have sat and watched a dvd, without getting bored.

They're already talking about what they'd like to do next year, at dancing!!
