Scabiosa

Blip is certainly making me think and to be honest is sometimes a bit stressful trying to find something to fill the space each day, especially when juggling my son's needs and wants.

But that said its a challenge that forcing me to open my eyes.

Take these Scabiosa, on their way to the bin I suddenly realised how beautiful they were in death, the textures and details held in their dried out blooms are quite wonderful.

The background for this image is some Japanese writing paper, the camera my trusty iPhone again with brightness saturation and contrast tweaked.
