Welcome to Belguim!

After a few potential non starters (car still in garage, got courtesey car; husband had no passport - emergency trip to Passport office) we finally got to the continent! We travelled via the Chunnel which the children found immensely exciting!

We travelled through northern France and crossed into Belgium, en route to Center Parcs. The landscape was very similar to that of Lincolnshire (where my husband hails from) lots of flat agric land!

However, the landscape was dominated by the magnificent beasts that are the wind turbines. Sure they are controversial, but I actually like them on the landscape, there is something about them.
