Winter Solstice
The shortest day’s light of the year in the northern hemisphere is over. It became a rainy one too when we took an early evening walk to look for Saturn and Jupiter low in the southwestern sky. Sadly the low cloud denied us any view today but both planets in close proximity should be clearly visible tomorrow and also on Thursday.
Our daughter and her 8 year old son hosted a family quiz this evening which was excellent fun. Lovely to see everyone together on the screen - so 2020!
