In Ashby
Day didn't start well. The driver's seat in the car had got stuck and wouldn't let me sit in and drive so Len had to put his trousers on quickly and drive me to Ashby for my chiropody appointment. I was at my wit's end with the corn on my right foot and worried I would miss it.
The chiropodist told me that the corn had started to break down and ulcerated. It was that that was causing the extreme pain. Anyway, she dug out what she could and applied a large dressing. Even better, she told me to keep the weight off my feet.
A queue 400 m long at M&S so we went home and I shopped for veg at The Urban Farm Shop. No one in a queue.
Finished making Ann's book.
