Wonky basket

This wonky old shopping basket used to belong to my stepfather. He would toddle off to the shops with it most days, not for real shopping but for anything else that took his fancy. He loved gadgets.

I wonder if he would approve of the artificial flowers I put in it to brighten up the hearth in the winter months?
