Moose Sighting

Question: What do you call a moose wearing a mask?
Answer: Anonymoose :)

If you look closely you’ll see this moose has a mask on, although he is not wearing it as he trots across the field. No worries since he is socially distancing • You may have guessed this isn’t a real moose. It’s actually a statue at the University of Maine at Augusta where MrsP worked before retiring. It serves two purposes, really, because it’s the mascot for UMA and the moose is also the official state animal • They are BIG too averaging 1200-1500 lbs, 6’ tall and 9’ long; males grow antlers annually during breeding season before shedding them in early winter. It helps them conserve energy during the coldest time of the year. Believe it or not their antlers can spread over 5 feet! That’s a lot of moose ;) • We watched Miracle on 34th Street last night. I have no clue (yet) what tonight will bring but we’ll enjoy another favorite over a homemade vegan pizza and salad.
