Batsford

This has to be the muddiest walk ever. Thick, sticky, clay-like mud which rapidly added an extra kilo to the footwear! After struggling along the Diamond Way (long distance footpath through the Cotswolds) for an hour we struck off to an 'ordinary' path which, thankfully, was much less well trodden and significantly less muddy. Beautiful clear day but the threatening Arctic blast was on its way...
