Winter solstice

No nice sunset or aligning planets. Actually, fog and drizzle in the harbour to avoid the big waves. But OH just wonderful. Once you get past the first few minutes, it’s just gorgeous. Rosie came too, hence my float, she was on a long lead tied to it. Saved me having to chase her across the ship riddled harbour as she tracks down a rogue feather.

Daisy cooked fajitas for dinner, I wrapped up some presents. We played Splendor after dinner, we bought it for Jay for his birthday but have had to wait for Daisy to be here and explain the rules to us. Good game, I very nearly won!’
