Conjunction

Apparently, if you look to the south west shortly after sunset Saturn and Jupiter are in conjunction. 

Apparently. 

To continue the theme of mis-delivered flora, on Saturday a very nice young man tried to convince me that the Christmas Tree he had heaved up two flights of stairs was mine. I had to disappoint him and make him heave it up one more flight. 

And someone stole my doormat. The one I made out of climbing rope. I am very sad, it had sentimental value (stop sniggering, it is perfectly possible for someone to have sentimental value for a door mat). 

Alas poor door mat. I will have to make another.
