On strike

The hens at the Farm as there were no medium or large eggs to be had, just a few boxes of ex.large, although I suspect they have actually been working laying very hard to accommodate the extra rush of us lot visiting the Farm on these last few shopping days before ............  however, I picked up a couple boxes of the remaining ex-lg, some of the green round things on a stalk, lovely fresh carrots and potatoes  so the supermarket shop was not too onerous.  
Hooray, I don't need to do battle in the supermarket again.

#1 daughter will be joining us for Christmas Dinner now that she can't travel to Scotland to spend Christmas with her daughter and son who would have travelled from Bristol.  Disappointing times, but safety first.
