Mince pies?

I stole the photo of Joe and the “mince” pies. He and his dad made the pastry and then realised they had no mincemeat. Jam tart anyone?  I should think Joe would prefer jam ones. 
MrM was stir crazy so we went to John Lewis to look at curtains. We couldn’t decide which pattern and annoyingly our windows are about 5cm longer than the standard length. There was talk of lowering the curtain rail :-)
