Flight BA347 - Nice to London Heathrow Airport.
Today I have been sorting out information and emails for my new student group. No good trying to work on my assignment as my granddaughter Victoria is travelling home from her school skiing holiday.
There was a Moorhen in the garden this morning as well as a male and female Bullfinch in the hedgerow opposite my house. The Moorhen disappeared and the Bullfinches were blurry as they took off, having seen me through the window.
Instead you have a picture of my Plane Tracker as I tracked Victoria home on my iPad. I always track my family when they fly although I am not usually lucky enough to track them all the way, often losing them part way home. Here her plane is just approaching Paris on the Eastern side on her way to London Heathrow Airport.
They obviously had a good tail-wind to bring them all home safely; they landed twenty-five minutes early having taken off on time from Nice. They will shortly be boarding the school bus which will bring them the rest of the way home by about 1800 hours; I am sure I will hear all about it when I see her on Monday.
This is my daily journal of life as it relates to me, so sorry, you get the rubbish as well as the sometimes non-so rubbish pictures.
