Most made

The shortest day of the year.. But the most was made of the daylight.

I finished work at 10am and shot through to Stromness to do horse chores. Myself and A were booked into the indoor arena for noon. We've been doing some loading work with the horses the last couple of weeks... But I don't think either of us were prepared for it to be so quick and easy as it was this morning when we had an agenda. A huge relief. When we arrived at the arena, we let the horses wander loose whilst we unloaded everything. Both Jeeps and Berlin had travelled perfectly fine and we're as chilled as anything in the arena, both working hard. Another while loose to cool off and roll before we loaded to go home. Again, a quick and straightforward exercise. Back at the horse House, more horse chores were completed as the shortest day came to a close. 

The dogs helped with field chores as part of their walkies. Now home with Gorgeous... Who is under strict instruction to not take on any extra work this week...
