No Sleep

After dinner last night, some guy knocked on the door holding this little dog. Is it mine? No. Do I know where it belongs? No. We asked the neighbors. Yes, they've seen it the last couple of days, but don't know where it belongs. If it does. So, after much deliberation, I agreed to stick it in the bathroom with food, water, warm bed, and a pee pad. He has whined all night and I am exhausted. Feel very sorry for him, but ready to find his home! PLEASE let him belong to someone and not be stuck here until I can get him to the shelter. The guy that dropped him off was just cutting through... he was just going to let him go because he had somewhere to be that didn't include a dog. Sigh. No good deed, right? No housebroken, not neutered, afraid of cats and squeaky toys. Oh yes... and Pilot wants him dead. Fun weekend for all of us!

Update: I managed to locate the owner- or rather, they located me by asking the same people I was asking. Dog is back home. I hope she can keep him there!
