So looking forward to the next week. We were on Bahrain's first direct flight to the Maldives since everything went into lockdown. We will be spending a week of quarantine on the little island of Bandos. Joining Kath, Pete, Maureen and Kieran.  Still in our little bubble

Germany is planning to close most shops from Wednesday until January 10 as it tightens coronavirus restrictions and tries to rein in the spread of the disease, according to a draft government proposal.  
 The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 20,200 to 1,320,716,  The reported death toll rose by 321 to 21,787,
